This page explains what we collect when you use codeitronics.com, why we collect it, who processes it for us, and how to get it changed or deleted. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
Contact form: your name, email, optional company and phone, the service you picked and your message.
Newsletter: your email, the page you signed up on, and a record of your consent (time, the consent wording, and a salted hash of your IP address — not the IP itself).
Comments, forum posts and testimonials: the name and text you submit, and your email (never shown publicly).
Analytics: the page you viewed, the referring site, campaign tags in the link, your country, and device type.
Analytics without cookies
We count visits with our own first-party analytics. It sets no cookies and stores no IP address. To count unique visitors we use a hash of your IP address and browser that changes every day, so we can't follow you across days. Requests with Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are not recorded, and bots are ignored. We do not use advertising trackers.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, send the newsletter you confirmed, publish comments and testimonials you submitted (testimonials only with your consent), and understand which content is useful. We don't sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Who processes it
Hosting: Netlify. Database: Neon (PostgreSQL). File storage: Cloudflare R2. Email delivery: our email provider (currently Google Workspace/Gmail SMTP; Resend if we switch). Booking a call: the scheduler (Cal.com, or Calendly) receives the name, email and answers you enter there; its script loads only when you open the booking window. LinkedIn receives only what we choose to post there. AI providers (DeepSeek, Google Gemini) are used to help write our own content; your form submissions are not sent to them.
How long we keep it
Enquiries: as long as needed to handle the conversation and any project that follows. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe, after which we keep only the consent record. Analytics events: about 13 months. Comments and forum posts that were never approved: deleted periodically.
Your choices
Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link. To see, correct or delete anything we hold about you, email us and we'll do it within 30 days.
